Lavender Essential Oil

$9.99

Lavender oil possesses a clean, pure, naturally relaxing aroma. Taking its name from the Latin lavare, meaning "to wash," Lavender was carried all over Europe, Asia, and Africa by the Romans for use in their bath water and soaps—not only for it’s wonderful scent but also for it’s antiseptic and healing qualities to bathe their wounds.

The oil is widely used in aromatherapy to ease tension, tiredness, and feelings of depression. It’s also used therapeutically on the skin for burns, sunburns, and insect bites, and reduces scarring and wrinkles.

Add a few drops of oil to your favorite lotion, massage oil, or aromatherapy diffuser. It's also good in soaps, candles, and potpourris. Try 3-5 drops into your bath water for relaxation.

Unlike most essential oils, lavender can be applied undiluted, or "neat". It may be used alone or in combination with almost any other oil. I especially like the blends of Lavender/Chamomile and Lavender/Rose.

1/2 fl oz bottle, sorry, no drop dispenser.

General Safety Instructions: Use extreme caution when using essential oils with children and give children only the gentlest oils at extremely low doses. It is safest to consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using oils with children. A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using an essential oil that you've never used before.

Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Essential oils are highly concentrated and should always be treated with care and respect. Store out of direct sunlight. For external use only.

If pregnant or suffering from any medical condition consult health care practitioner before use.
