Orange oil has long been used as a major component of grease cutting cleaners, but it's use as a health and beauty aid is a real knockout. The essential oil of the Sweet Orange is delightfully bright and cheery, refreshing and relaxing, strongly antidepressant. Used in an aroma lamp it brightens the atmosphere of a room. Blended with any of the spice or coniferous oils it makes a wonderful winter holiday blend.
Benefits for your epidermis: improves oily or dull skin, reduces puffiness and wrinkles, and softens tough skin.
Add a few drops of oil to your favorite lotion, massage oil, or aromatherapy diffuser. It's also good in soaps, candles, and potpourris.
Blends well with these other oils: Geranium, Lavender, Neroli, Petitgrain, Rosemary, and all woods and spices.
1/2 fl oz bottle, drop dispenser.
General Safety Instructions: Sweet Orange oil can cause photosensitivity so be careful of applying to the skin prior to exposure to sunlight until you know it's effect on your skin. It can also stain your skin if exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light. Do not use on very sensitive skin.
Use extreme caution when using essential oils with children and give children only the gentlest oils at extremely low doses. It is safest to consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using oils with children. A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using an essential oil that you've never used before.
Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Essential oils are highly concentrated and should always be treated with care and respect. Store out of direct sunlight. For external use only. Always dilute as essential oils may cause skin irritation if not diluted properly.
If pregnant or suffering from any medical condition consult health care practitioner before use.
